  No doubt he is a good vet but he will empty your pockets. Charged me $200 to treat a hot spot twice within a few months. I agree he does unnecessary tests that don't have to be performed. I changed vets and was charged half the cost. Also the staff will harass you if you didn't get your pet from the pound or rescue. I have not been at this vet for a few years and will never go back. I am sure the expensive charges are to help pay the rent in the very nice office space.

  We are a military family which we move on average every two years. This is my most favorite vetenarian clinic I have ever been to. A month after we PCS to this area I had to take my dog in because his teeth were in bad shape. Plus he was due for some vaccines. My dog ended up having all of his teeth, the 25 that remained, removed. I was very worried about the procedure. If it wasn't for the staff and Dr.Mears I might have not had the procedure done. Dr. Mears took a lot of time explaining the procedure, the benefits for my dog's health etc. What I like the most about Dr. Mears is that he doesn't rush through the appointment. Neither does his staff. They are very friendly. It is going to be difficult to find a vet this good when we have to PCS out of this area. I'm not looking forward to that!

  Our family loves Shiloh Vet Clinic!! They make us feel more like part of their family then just customers. We have a 16 yr old cat and a 1 yr old poodle. They are great with both of them! They are supportive, answer questions, and you can tell they love our pets as much as we do.
